What makes it different

Most trackers ask you to trust a number. This one proves it.

Four things Movyneo does that a calorie counter usually doesn't.

Predictive logging

Your usual meals, already waiting.

Movyneo notices that you have oatmeal around eight and coffee right after it. By the second week, most of your day is one tap — and every suggestion says why it's there.

  • “Usually now” and “A recent favourite” instead of a mystery ranking
  • Long-press a suggestion to adjust the portion before logging
  • Swipe away anything you don't want — it quietly stops appearing
  • Runs entirely on device; nothing about your diet is uploaded
Log screen with recent foods, barcode, saved meals and quick add
Evidence, not oracles

Every number can be opened up.

Tap your calorie target and you get the whole calculation: your measured expenditure, the deficit that was chosen, and any safety limit that stepped in. Tap a food and you see which public database it came from.

  • Targets recalculate from your own results, not a generic formula
  • Safety floors are shown, never applied silently
  • Food data from USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts
  • Insights explain themselves: “why am I seeing this?”
Food detail screen showing portion, macros and the data source of the numbers
Insights that respect you

Patterns, without the guilt trip.

A weekly report told as five cards, trends across macros and weight, and plateau diagnosis that considers the boring explanations first. No streak shaming, no “you failed today”.

  • Weight trend separated from daily noise
  • Sugar, saturated fat and sodium patterns in a non-alarmist format
  • Projection shown with an honest uncertainty band
  • A two-page PDF you can hand to a dietitian
Insights screen with weekly summary, 30-day intake chart and weight trend
Fits the rest of your life

Health, Watch, widgets, Siri.

Steps and workouts come in from Apple Health; water and workouts go back out. Your remaining calories sit on the Home Screen, the Lock Screen and your wrist.

  • Two-way Apple Health sync, with duplicate protection
  • Apple Watch app and complication
  • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets
  • Log by voice — speech is transcribed on device, never uploaded

Privacy

Your food diary never leaves your iPhone.

This isn't a policy promise bolted on afterwards — it's how the app is built. Movyneo contains no networking code at all. There is no server to send data to, because there is no server.

No account, ever

No sign-up, no email, no password. Open the app and start.

No analytics or tracking

No SDKs, no crash trackers, no advertising identifiers, no ads.

Works fully offline

The food database ships inside the app. Aeroplane mode changes nothing.

Your data, exportable

Three CSV files and a PDF report, generated on device, whenever you want.

Photos stay private

Progress photos are encrypted on device. Meal photos never leave it.

On-device intelligence

Predictions, speech and label reading all run locally. No cloud AI.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is Movyneo free?

Yes. Logging food, tracking weight, Apple Health sync and the core insights are free. Premium is an optional subscription that unlocks weekly meal planning, the full report set, advanced insights and extra themes. You can use the app indefinitely without paying.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up at all. Your data lives in the app on your iPhone, which means it is included in your normal encrypted iPhone backup, and it disappears if you delete the app.

Does my data sync between devices?

Not in the first release. Sync would require sending your food diary to a server, and we would rather ship the offline promise honestly than a half-measure. Your data restores with an iPhone backup, and you can export everything as CSV at any time.

Where do the food numbers come from?

USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts — both public databases, bundled inside the app. Each food shows its own source, and our derived database is published under the ODbL licence as required.

Can it estimate calories from a photo?

No, and it won't pretend to. Reliable food recognition doesn't run on device today, and a cloud model would break the offline promise. Meal photos are a visual diary that sits alongside the meal you logged — the app says exactly that on screen.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later, plus an Apple Watch app, widgets, Live Activities and Siri Shortcuts.

Coming to the App Store.

Movyneo is in final testing. Questions in the meantime are welcome.
